Casual Team Members

About the role 

We are looking for several casual team members to join our Trade and Retail teams at Becks Mitre 10 stores across Tasmania's Northwest Coast, including Latrobe, Port Sorell and Devonport. You will work across a roster shift between Monday and Sunday.

You will bring previous experience in trade or retail sales, along with the ability to build strong relationships with customers in the residential building industry. A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service will set you up for success in this dynamic role. 

What you will be doing: 

• Liaise with trade representatives to support account customers.
• Deliver excellent customer service through counter sales, quotes and delivery orders.
• Process sales orders, quotes and invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Handle customer queries and complaints in a professional and helpful manner.
• Replenish stock and maintain store presentation standards.
• Pick and pack orders.
• Identify opportunities to increase sales. 

What you will bring: 

• Strong customer service focus.
• Ability to clearly communicate to customers via phone and email.
• Ability to multitask in a dynamic fast paced trade business.
• Previous experience in a similar Counter sales / Trade Sales position.
• Flexibility to work across a 7-day trading week roster
• An understanding of the Timber & Hardware market with previous experience is desirable but not essential. 
• Ability to work closely in a diverse team.
