About the Opportunity
We’re looking for an experienced Operations Manager based in Ingleburn, working in a full-time permanent role. You will lead day-to-day warehouse and transport operations, ensuring premium customer service through DIFOT, strong productivity, compliant site standards and high-performing team leadership. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will oversee shift managers, transport, dispatch and store teams, while partnering with key internal stakeholders to optimise service, inventory accuracy, cost control and continuous improvement outcomes

 

In this Role

  • Lead warehouse and transport operations to achieve on-time delivery, order accuracy and strong service outcomes.
  • Manage shift managers, storeworkers and transport teams to ensure safe, efficient and seamless daily operations.
  • Oversee inventory flow, replenishment, stock rotation, temperature controls and warehouse compliance standards.
  • Drive DIFOT performance and coordinate day-to-day distribution activity in a time- and cost-effective way.
  • Monitor budgets, KPIs, costs, service levels and operational error rates, providing regular management reporting.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to lift productivity, service and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure HACCP, OH&S, housekeeping, equipment maintenance and pallet control requirements are met.
  • Build an engaged, capable and customer-focused team through leadership, coaching and performance management.

 

What are we looking for?

  • Experience in warehouse management within food services, FMCG or a similar fast-paced environment.
  • Strong operational capability across warehouse and distribution functions.
  • Demonstrated success leading people and building high-performing teams.
  • Experience managing budgets, KPIs and operational improvement initiatives.
  • Sound knowledge of HACCP requirements and OH&S compliance.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office capability.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving and project management skills.
  • A customer-focused, detail-oriented approach with a passion for quality, safety and service.
