About the role

Do you enjoy a balance of office work and hands-on operations servicing customer’s? 

Due to an internal promotion, the Warringah Timbers team is on the lookout for a reliable and flexible team player to join us as an Inside Sales team member on a full-time basis. 

This role operates a full time hour week across Monday to Friday (with occasional half Saturdays). You’ll be responsible for a variety of tasks, from responding to phone enquiries, organising deliveries, processing customer orders, preparing quotes and processing customer transactions in store. 

You will need to complete a medical assessment prior to starting with Warringah Timbers. 

What you will be doing: 

• Creating Orders for customers 

• Purchase orders 

• Responding to customer enquiries and taking special orders 

• Preparing accurate quotes and organising delivery schedules 

• Engaging customers on the phone or via email to drive sales 

• Managing daily administrative tasks for Trade Account Managers 

• Providing in-store customer assistance  

What you will bring: 

• A strong work ethic and a “can-do” attitude 

• Excellent communication skills and a team-first mindset 

• Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook  

• Timber and hardware knowledge is an advantage but not essential 

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with a sense of urgency
